Survey finds Chinese manufacturing worsening (AP)

The contraction in China’s manufacturing worsened in March as the global downturn battered trade, data showed Wednesday, and President Hu Jintao said problems due to the crisis are growing as he left for a London economic summit.

Honda offers buyouts, cuts pay in North America (AP)

Honda Motor Co. is offering voluntary buyouts, cutting workers’ pay and imposing 13 non-production days at its North American plants to reduce its output this summer by 62,000 vehicles.

For Wall Street, March is best month since 2002 (Reuters)

Stocks climbed on Tuesday, driving the S&P 500 to its best month since October 2002, as investors snapped up top-performing bank and technology shares as the first quarter came to an end.
